The space

Immaculately renovated upstairs studio in a multi-unit building only two blocks from Downtown Santa Barbara & State Street. The original Spanish architecture has been preserved while offering modern upgrades & conveniences.

This 285 sqft queen-bed unit has a flat-screen smart TV with streaming, casting, or Airplay features and a Samsung split heating/AC system for ultimate comfort. A private en-suite bath with a rain shower and a kitchenette with Nespresso, microwave & mini fridge complete this stay in Santa Barbara.

NOISE DISCLAIMER: This unit is above lower units; please know this when booking as noise transfers downstairs. We ask for extra diligence in this unit to respect noise levels at all hours to avoid disturbing downstairs guests. Noise can also be heard from downstairs units.

NO PARTIES: We have a strict 'No Party' policy-parties or events are not allowed. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 pm-8 am.

PETS: ALLOWED with a $50 pet fee and one pet max per unit. (N/A to service animals, applicable to ESA's). Pets brought onsite without permission/payment are subject to a $500 fine.

Our cleaning fee includes professional cleaning of the unit and outdoor space. As part of The Living Wage Pledge, we are committed to paying our cleaners fairly. A living wage is a minimum income necessary for someone to meet their basic needs and participate in their community.

To support sustainable tourism and reduce our carbon footprint, we provide Public Goods toiletries, compostable sponges, trash bags, and green cleaning products.

Guest access

This is a self-serve stay. We provide contactless self-check-in. The doors are all equipped with smart locks, and a unique code will be generated and sent to you on check-in day.

Parking and EV charging (shared amenity):

Casa Jardin offers free guest parking in its private parking lot at the back of the property. Please use free street parking if the lot is full. One parking spot per unit on a first-come, first-serve basis. EV chargers are available for guests to use during their stay. Two shared J1772 chargers are mounted on the left side of the parking lot. Two shared Tesla chargers are located on the right side of the parking area. Please bring your own adaptor if needed, and please disconnect when not charging to allow other guests access to the chargers. Casa Jardin does not monitor parking spot use and we are unable to request guests to move their vehicles.

Tech

This complex does not have live TV service. Instead, all TVs have apps (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube TV, and Amazon Video) for your streaming pleasure. The property has gigabit wifi, and the unit has a private network for guests to cast directly onto the TV.

Guest interaction

This is a self-serve stay. We are an off-site host, there is no front desk, and we provide contactless self-check-in. In addition, we have a dedicated hospitality department in case of emergencies.

Located within walking distance to nearly all restaurants and retail stores on the State Street corridor, 20+ tasting rooms, 10+ breweries, and countless choices for eating or drinking make this an ideal location for anything that may bring you to the world-renowned Santa Barbara Coast.

Santa Barbara Transit Center is five blocks away.

Amazing!

My spouse and I were so please with our 2 night stay at Casa Jardin. Our room (unit 11) was very clean and well designed. The location was central to shops and restaurants. It was perfect for our anniversary get-away. The amenities in the room were well stocked and great quality. The staff that we encountered during our stay was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay at Casa Jardin again!

Overall great location and site.

Visited SB early 10/2023, off season. The back parking lot had easy parking which was nice, and location overall quiet. Good amenities, small kitchen with microwave and small fridge. Overall great location, but the walls a very thin and you can hear people waking. I lived upstairs, and I can't imagine it being very quiet for people downstairs. But overall would recommend.

Fantastic experience in Santa Barbara

We had a fantastic experience staying at Casa Jardin! The location is great and we were able to easily walk to State Street to enjoy the local restaurants. We stayed in unit 11 and we really enjoyed the decor and amenities. All items were brand new. The sheets and bed were high quality and very comfortable. The large TV was perfect for some evening Netflix watching. It was great having a kitchenette with a fridge and microwave to reheat our restaurant leftovers. The unit was not huge, however, it was still perfect for our needs for a short stay. We visited during some days of heavy rain and wind and we were so pleased that the heating system worked like a charm! The booking process was very easy and their staff was super friendly and helpful when we had some questions about the property. We will definitely stay here again!

Amazing Place

We loved our stay at Casa Jardin. It's centrally located and just a few blocks from so many great attractions in Santa Barbara while still neslted in a beautiful neighborhood, giving you a home like feel. The rooms are brand new with all the features you need for a comfortable stay. We loved the bedding and enjoyed the brand new fixtures in the bathroom. We are looking forward to our next stay.
