Perfect Getaway Spot in Tahoe
South Lake Tahoe Chalet Boutique is the ideal place to book your next trip !! Location, amenities, easy to access unit with secure code, comfortable beds, free parking, professional staff, and value for your money !! Stayed 3 nights and it was perfect. Studio 12 was a dream for the two of us !!

One night stay
We booked this room because it was close to the concert located at the Harvey’s It was perfect walking distance to the concert, no more than 2 minutes walk. Also, walking distance to all the food areas and casinos. Clean and spacious inside. Beds were amazing! Comfortable mid firm foam bed!

Amazing place near everything
I and my companions had an awesome time at Unit 12. The parking spot with awning right outside the door was so convenient as it was the location. We walked everywhere the beach, dinning, shopping etc. The place was well stocked, clean, and beautiful. Definitely an A++++

Awesome stay
Thank you for being ready for us on such short notice. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were the most comfortable that we have had thus far on our trip. And we were thankful for the covered parking. Also a thought to improve might be to put a sign with the hospitality department’s number on it next to unit 1 and unit 12. Had a lot of people that thought unit 12 was a reception area.

Great location, dark room, clean enough
Kindly asked about the norm regarding early check-in and late check-out but the answers were some hard no. Checked-in no problem at 4 pm but the floor was very dusty and dirty. Everything else seems clean but we decided to clean what we use, especially the dishes, ourselves before using them given the condition of the floor. We were also asked to wash our dishes and throw away our trash before checking ourselves out, which we normally do, cleaning up after ourselves before check-out. That said, however, I am unsatisfied with the room cleanliness, given the previous guests had to do some cleaning, the supposedly 5 hours of cleaning, and for the price per night. The overall experience was not bad. Room begs for natural lights and only have a few lamps but I guess great for sleeping in. Walls are a bit thin that you hear guests next door laughing and on the level above you walking. Other than that, it is located at a very convenient location, offering two comfortable beds with some nice amenities, such as hair dryer, keurig coffee, refrigerator, microwave, and chrome cast TV.

Cutest little stay ever!
This stay most definitely added to our experience. It was walking distance to multiple restaurants, shops, and experiences. We LOVED how homey it felt. The tv is a smart tv which we very much enjoyed during our down time. We cannot wait to come back and stay again. However, I would not stay in unit 12 as it is directly underneath the balcony of another unit. It was July 4th weekend when we stayed and the guests above us were extremely inconsiderate and partying and stomping all hours of the night. We get it, it’s a holiday weekend but we did not sleep due to this. They did specify in the booking that we were under another unit!

Bad insulation of sounds, inconsiderate guests
I'll start with what I liked about this place 1) Great location. One block away from the commercial area with restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets but distant enough to stay away from the traffic noise 2) Nice decoration. Room is nicely decorated with sufficient amenities. The shower was great. 3) Private parking with enough slots 4) Digital lock. Not worrying about carrying or losing the key. Here's why I gave a low score and would not come back again. 1) The wall is paper thin. I can hear in day time conversations of people living next door. Privacy is a challenge. 2) The ceiling is paper thin. The family lived above us woke up at 4am and walked in and out with their dogs scratching their floors for almost 2 hours; afterwards my next door neighbor got up at 530 to start showering, packing, laughing. My wife and I came back late the previous night and had only about 4 hours of sleep with a full-day schedule the next day. I lived in many multi-floor buildings in my life and I had neighbors living one floor above getting up really early. But I can tell that the ceiling of my room barely offers any insulation of sound. The bottomline is, if a hotel room cannot guarantee good sleep of its guest, it misses its fundamental function, making all the perks trivial.

Cute Spot!
This place was cute , clean, and cozy. We enjoyed our stay. We are extremely grateful that it was dog friendly!! The only thing I disliked was that the water to wash dishes/ wash hands in the restroom was freezing! It never got warm. I don’t know if we needed to let it run for a while, but I didn’t want to waste water. The shower water did get hot but the pressure of the shower head was very strong. It kinda hurt. I don’t know if there was a way to adjust it, but I couldn’t figure it out. Over all, a cool place to stay. Thank you.

Great Home Away From Home
We stayed at this Air BnB for 2 nights and had a blast! The room was cute, comfy and very close to all the shopping, food, and even the beach! Perfect place to stay near South Lake Tahoe

Amazing
We loved this cozy studio it was perfect and appliances were all upgraded it was so cute! I loved everything about it the floors to the kitchen counter and retro Mini refrigerador they had as well. I had one problem and that was the upstairs guests were being very loud but I reached out to host and they responded so quickly and resolved the issue just as quick and had no more trouble with loud noises. I loved there communication and quick responses they even took the time to follow up the following Day. I would go back and stay here it was perfect for me and my little family I felt very comfortable here and can’t wait to return. I definitely recommend!!

Noise
Per the description there was a noise disclaimer saying that you may hear the tenants above but this is rare. Certainly not the case at all! We could hear everything from the guests they had over, talking, music, footsteps, jumping and even the clicking noises of OPENING A CAN. If the description was accurate and said “you WILL hear noise” vs. “rare to hear noises” then I would not have booked this place. To be clear, you hear everything!!

Great Place!
This was a great place to stay. The place was clean and most importantly, it was quite and peaceful. A short 5-10 minute walk to casinos and a variety of eateries. Would stay again!

Just a note for you :) The room is pretty dark since there’s no light. Thank you for bringing the floor lamp but the room is still not bright enough. Also, the wife was down :( so hopefully it can be fixed. Everything else is great. Thank you!

Noisy tenant upstairs kept us awake till 1 am
The unit is located downstairs. Upstairs has another unit. The guest walked back and forth till 1 am. The floor has poor sound proof, it creaked with every step. We called the staff around 12 he says he would notify the tenant but it was 1 hour later the tenant finally stopped. The design of the unit should be changed. Unit 12’s upstairs bring to unit 1 which is next door! Unit 12 was the lobby of motel and modified into an Airbnb unit.
