The place was extremely clean and it had an amazingly comfortable bed. The check in was smooth and easy with the code. It’s within walking distance to almost everything which is really convenient. The staff was great and very helpful especially with the fireplace. It was a great way to spend a vacation and well worth the money. Definitely going to stay here again.

Favorite Stay, Would Book Again!
Loved staying at this property because it was so close to Heavenly Village, the communication was clear & quick, and it was so clean & cozy! Parking on site is lovely because you have a designated spot, so everything is so well organized. Will definitely recommend to anyone visiting South Lake Tahoe!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!
This hotel was such an amazing getaway. Customer service was so amazing as I had a couple questions before I booked. Check in was super easy & convenient didn’t even have to talk to anyone just checked in on the automated lock on the door! All the little details to make sure you have a comfortable stay! Makeup wipes, makeup towels, pre toothpastes tooth brushes! The kitchen was stocked with necessities & extra! Even a cleaning spray bottle! Really nice microwave and mini fridge. Love the decor! Everything about the room was amazing & it was super super clean! Had a problem with our hot water didn’t think to reach out but when I did I got the fastest response and insurance on fixing it as fast as possible! I honestly have nothing bad to say! I loved it and will definitely be coming back! Oh and the bed.. I haven’t had that good of sleep in so long while I got to watch Christmas movies on thanksgiving with my boyfriend on the smart tv! Loved it!❤️😍😊 Thanks South Lake Tahoe chalet!! See you again soon😊

Gem in Tahoe area!
Great modern decor with extra touches for comfort! Eye masks and ear plugs, sound machine (although the place was very quiet), nice selection of teas and coffees, including pour-over—fantastic!, plush towels, including makeup towels and make-remover cloths, toiletries , slippers, pet towel, fireplace, refrigerator and microwave, dishes and glassware, soft sheets and pillows. Two chairs outside for a relaxing spot listening to the fountain. The one level was nice and a designated parking space. A couple charges available for EV’s. Every accommodation was thought about and great location to many restaurants and attractions— definitely will rerun!

2nd time staying
This is our second time staying here and after the first 5 star trip we had to book here again. And I can say we will be back for a 3rd. This is off the strip so you still have the peace and quiet with the ease of walking distance to everything. Scooters were amazing as well to get around. Staff was very helpful and super quick to respond to anything we needed. Very kind people. Place is very clean and kept up great. Bed is super comfy and ac and heater work AMAZING.

Easy comfortable overnight stay
Good communication. A bit warm when we walked in but we turned heat off and opened window. Great shower. Might be nice to have a shorter door code that we might remember during stay. 😜

Tahoe at its best
This property is a jewel. If you are all about the digital and tech experience, along with modern and upscale rooms, this is for you. Since the communications were clear and concise, I was able to get everything to work. It's a good location to launch your South Lake experience. And it was surprisingly quiet given the parking lot is right outside your room. I'll return! Thank you!

PERFECTLY QUAINT BOUTIQUE HOTEL
This is our third stay now at South lake Tahoe Chalet. It fits our needs perfectly. A small kitchenette, nice clean rooms and a comfortable bed. The shower is a nice size and everything works- the TV, air conditioning, fireplace, hot and cold water, etc. You can’t beat the price either for what it offers. The location is great. Located right at State line & it is a short walk from the room to town & 1 block to the lake. PERFECT! We definitely will be back.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Perfect Location
We stayed one night for a concert. It was convenient close to Harvey’s, less than 2 minutes walk to event. Location is clean and quiet. Great night sleep, medium firm bed. Bathroom is clean, spacious. I’m a returning customer and will continue to return. It’s an amazing place!

Comfortable stay
I went to SLT for outpatient surgery & wanted to beat the storm so we stayed the night before my surgery & the checked out the day after my surgery. Our stay was perfect, comfortable & quiet. It had all the amenities we needed to be comfortable.

Great place to stay!
This was a one-day, mid-week get away for us. Clean, compact, and modern room. Our night was super quiet, but we had no adjoining neighbors so can't comment on that. Having a dedicated parking space was a nice touch. This is walking distance, 2 blocks, to everything. Highly recommended.

First time to Tahoe!
This cozy, comfy room (Bed is actually very comfortable!) with a modern interior is stocked with everything you need for your stay. From the Kitchenette with dishes for two, full sink, mini fridge, microwave, k-cup coffee machine; to the roomy bathroom with plenty of fresh towels and toiletries. It’s in walking distance to plenty of options for dining and shopping and it’s a short 20 minute drive to Camp Richards (SE corner of lake) and 30 minute drive to Incline Village (NE corner of lake) for fun outdoor activities. I would definitely book this space again!

We had a great stay in Tahoe in this renovated gem. The place was thoughtfully appointed with necessities during our stay, as well as very clean and everything updated. Love the fireplace as well as the little kitchenette. The shower was also very nice. Would recommend this to anyone and will be staying again.

Beautiful and clean!
This was the perfect place to stay in Tahoe! We stayed for 2 nights for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was in a great location, within walking distance to everything we needed. Everything was spotless and the decor was stunning. The bed and bedding were extremely comfortable and luxurious, too! We will most definitely be back.

Good but couple things would make it excellent
Super super clean and cute room. Few things would make it an excellent stay. First off the window has only one main blind and this is the same with all units there. So if u open it to get natural light u have no second sheer curtain to stop anyone who is outside from completely being able to view inside, so we were very uncomfortable watching people and cleaning ladies walk back and forth being able to see us. Thus we had to keep the blinds closed all 5 days of our stay plunging us with indoor lighting and no natural light. The heating and cooling. It was super cold at sundown during the time we spent in Tahoe. We had a huge issue with getting this to work. We could not get the unit to heat up our room and so we tried the fireplace. But even at the lowest level it heat up the room to such a hot level we had to open the main door to let the freezing cold in. So we ended up turning off the fireplace and not having the heating unit working, we where freezing cold around sunset onwards. Parking was an issue out of the 5 nights 2 of them someone else had parked and we where left parking between trees. The unit has 10 spots only one car allowed per unit. But this was not the case as there where numerous cars and bikes with trailers as well as a construction van taking up every inch of that tiny parking lot. So the people that pay to stay have no where to park. It didn’t feel good coming in from a wedding party at 2.00 am only to find you have no where to park. We called the company and they said they will send out warning emails to all the units. This doesn’t make sense since people usually stayed for one day and left the next. And people who randomly park there aren’t going to receive an email or care. May I suggest u offer parking passes that we have to keep on our windshield as proof we stay there, all others with no parking pass can easily be towed. Other than that the rooms itself it’s gorgeous clean and lovely to stay in the staff over the phone is wonderful.

A very comfortable stay for our anniversary celebration
We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at South Lake Chalet because it is so close to Heavenly Village. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. When an issue with the air conditioner came up the hospitality staff was very communicative. We look forward to staying there again!

Beautiful little boutique. Kitchenette was perfect for our 7 day stay. Managers were very accommodating. People were very respectful of each other‘s privacy and were fairly quiet- even the dogs did well to not bark a lot🐶 ...Downtown to casinos and restaurants in gondola is within a couple blocks walking distance. Perfect weekend getaway

Cozy comfortable stay
Cozy Airbnb. It had everything we needed for our week in Tahoe! The host reached out during our stay to make sure we were okay. We Enjoyed the small kitchen and dishes provided. The fireplace was an added bonus. Location was great. We easily walked to several restaurants and coffee shops. It was right across from heavenly village and a short walk to the beach! The bed was super comfortable!!! We slept really well on the mattress and pillows

Such a great find!
This place was so adorable! Completely renovated and super clean. Everything was brand new and modern. Walked in and instantly fell in love. The neighbors were all very friendly as well. Definitely looking forward to staying here again!
