Perfect spot for a quick Christmas trip to Lake Tahoe
Our family decided to take a quick 4 day/3 night trip to South Lake Tahoe for Christmas and found this gem of a place. The rooms are exactly as shown on the website. They are small but fine for 2 people. We had 2 rooms - 1 with 1 adult and 1 with 2 adults and found it to be more than roomy. We loved the location - within walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, Heavenly ski resort, shops, casinos. Harrahs/Harveys is right there, and Heavenly village with the gondola, shops, pizza, restaurants, etc are all right there so you don't need to use your car much unless you are exploring or going to the supermarket. Everything is within a 10 minute walk and very easy to navigate. Parking is spacious and easy. The locks are easy to use and well explained, although if you travel frequently you will already know how to use these. I prefer these locks so you don't have to worry about losing or keeping track of your keys. All of the amenities are provided - there is a Keurig coffee making and you can bring your own pods or buy them. There is a small fridge with a freezer and a microwave. Soap, shampoo and conditioner, a hair dryer,are provided as well as a few make up remover pads. They have outlets with ethernet for your phone to charge. The TV is easy to use if you have a smart TV and know how to use it. We were able to log into our Youtube TV and Netflix with no problem. Good supply of towels. and an extra blanket. The little fireplace really keeps the room warm and cozy. The beds were comfortable. There was the cutest family of raccoons and some other animals - maybe beavers of some sort. You get reminder texts about check in and check out and we had no issues but I am confident that if we did they would have been addressed quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

The chalet is well maintained. The bathroom is very well lighted and large. Good place to rest and sleep. There’s no table space to dine in for two guests. Fireplace inside the room a plus. The sagging mattress is my only concern.

Super CUTE and COZY!! #9
My husband and I stayed here for a snowboarding trip for his birthday and we absolutely loved it!! The room is super cozy with a fireplace that made it and the bed was so comfortable too. The check-in process was so easy with a digital keypad for the lock to get in, which was nice especially if you prefer limited interactions. The room had everything we needed, including a smart TV for movies and a place to hang out snow gear and a place to put our boots. We can’t say enough nice things. Would stay here again for sure!! A place to come back to!
The location was just ideal,close to many restaurants and the main Blvd. Coming back to the room after a day out was terrific. The shower was so great and the bed at night very very comfortable. I was able to get a good nights sleep for the next days adventure

Comfy chalet near Heavenly
The room was really beautiful and nice. I booked because it was walking distance to Heavenly Gondola so it was a pity that it was too windy and the Gondola site was closed so we had to drive to resort. However, the place itself was cozy and sweet. Loved the coffee and shower was nice!

So cozy
Adorable and cozy room. Loved the fireplace, comfortable bed, tv viewing options. Really appreciated the modern finishes and clean appliances. I needed a freezer for breast milk and it froze everything perfectly. A few toothpaste splashes on the wall behind the bathroom sink and bit of food dried to a bowl but those are my only minor complaints.

I will be back! Stayed a week in Unit 9 and could not have asked for a better place to be for my first time visiting Lake Tahoe. Located within walking distance from Heavenly Village, beach access (paid entrance), casinos (although that's not my thing), a brewery with live music, great outdoor seating area, and more. Room was beautifully renovated, cozy, and very functional. Complex is nice and quiet at night, however there was some louder construction noise during the weekdays that started around 9a. Not a problem for me though as I was up and about and enjoying the beautiful outdoors. Owners/renters provided detailed instructions on how to operate all electronics in the unit, which was much appreciated and very helpful.

Fantastic place to stay
Beautifully appointed, very comfortable but not a lot of privacy. Assigned parking and neighboring motels have ev charging stations. Very convenient location and reasonably quiet. I would def stay here again! Just need a privacy screen for the only window. Overall 10 out of 10.

This was a nice place to stay and was very clean. It is close to the beach and in walkable distance to a bunch of cute shops. This is a great option for those booking on a budget and it was nice being a studio room because it was cheaper than a hotel and we could use a microwave

We loved the place and had an amazing time. I like the code based lock, but it is not very intuitive. Please provide a video explaining how to lock/unlock, text and pictures dont really do a great job explaining how it works. Parking needs a bit of reorganization

Room Nice, but Cramped...and AC Didn't Work
In Tahoe for a brief honeymoon...the accommodations were updated and stylish. Unfortunately, the room was not large enough for the King Size bed, so the room was a bit cramped. It would have been nice for a small table and chairs to site and enjoy a meal or coffee...there is a small 'desk', but two people cannot sit at it together. The room has a mini-split AC (Samsung) with a single condenser that supplies multiple rooms...it was not working. After being outdoors, we came back to a room that was 87-88 degrees and didn't cool down for multiple hours. Unclear why it was not serviced...this was the major shortcoming of the unit. In addition, mentioned this to the staff on site...was told that they would bring a fan, however one was never delivered.

Great Option to stay near the Lake
We now have stayed in two different units at 924 Poplar Ave and enjoyed our stay both times! The remodel of the units were done very well, are clean, good bedding and all the necessary essentials for the kitchenette! The only opportunity I would suggest that ownership considers is upgraded landscaping and a bit of curb appeal. While the BBQ pits were new and easy to utilize, there is not grass area and/or seating to enjoy the outdoor area or a meal. We look forward to our next visit and hope further enhancements are planned for the outdoor common areas. Thank you.

Has everything you need
This stay was very pleasant. Upon arrival everything was clean. The Air BnB is walking distance from everything! The Gondolas, Casinos, Shopping, and restaurants are just a block away. It has everything you may need fridge, microwave, utensils, etc. Only thing I could not figure out was the fire place, it kept going off through out the night but it did not bother me. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect Tahoe Getaway
Went to South Lake Tahoe for my birthday with my husband and English bulldog. Location was great, close to everything: restaurants (we loved Kalani’s and Base Camp Pizza), Raley’s, Casinos, lake front and not too far from Heavenly. The room itself was minimal and spacious. Comfy bed, outlets, kitchen ware and although there wasn’t any natural light, there was enough lighting needed. Parking wasn’t bad. Overall would stay here again!

Clean, fully remodeled but has too much extra cost
PROS: Room was as pictured, newly remodeled, clean and the linens provided were awesome! Would consider booking this property again. Great location. CONS: Too much extra fees - Room was priced ok but the extra cleaning fee was outrageous! For one night, an extra cleaning fee of $63 PLUS service fee of $36 was too much! It was an extra $100 of fees on top of the Room Rate. While I understand that in times of COVID, it is necessary to clean more thoroughly, the cleaning fee should not be a percentage of the room rate (as weekend rates goes high but cleaning process and cost should remain the same). Also, to send out check-out instructions where we are requested to wash our dishes, clean up after ourselves on top of a $63 cleaning fee left a bad taste in my mouth. Of course, I would never leave a place trashed but with me paying extra for cleaning, I shouldn’t be asked to. Parking - Yes, the property has one parking available for each unit. But with snow, unclear parking lines and the spaces unnumbered, it is confusing where to park, which is which and some slots are unusable.

I was most pleased with the thorough check-in/check-out instructions. There were no communication problems whatsoever, and the place was clean, well-kept, and impressively put together. We loved everything about the design and comfort of it. Although we'd have loved to check in sooner, we understand the climate of of the situation and how cleaning/sterilization is priority. But they were clear/transparent in communicating that we would be notified as soon as possible when the unit was ready (which they did about 1 hour before check-in). Very happy with this experience. Will be happy to book again 5/5
