Amazing Stay!
Highly reccommend this location as a lovely boutique stay. Units are perfect for two persons, with little kitchenette features and newer modern amenities. Loved the hassle free check-in and out. Very lovely stay and GREAT location for walking over one block to Heavenly and all the action on the main street. Clean, New and easy in and out. Very secure--guaranteed parking space. Quiet location just off the main drag. Perfect for simple overnight/weekend stay. Rooms on the smaller side but perfect for what it needs to be for a romantic weekend or ski staging. Will be back! Great place to stay
I give this place an all 5 stars! It’s a great place to stay. It’s located in the heart of the town and a walking distance to restaurants, shops, ski resort and the lake . Great for our winter stay in South Lake Tahoe
Our family decided to take a quick 4 day/3 night trip to South Lake Tahoe for Christmas and found this gem of a place. The rooms are exactly as shown on the website. They are small but fine for 2 people. We had 2 rooms Unit 8 and 9. Our son stayed in unit 8 which looked exactly like Unit 9 just configured opposite and with different artwork. We had 2 adults in unit 9 and found it to be more than roomy. We loved the location - within walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, Heavenly ski resort, shops, casinos. Harrahs/Harveys is right there, and Heavenly village with the gondola, shops, pizza, restaurants, etc are all right there so you don't need to use your car much unless you are exploring or going to the supermarket. Everything is within a 10 minute walk and very easy to navigate. Parking is spacious and easy. The locks are easy to use and well explained, although if you travel frequently you will already know how to use these. I prefer these locks so you don't have to worry about losing or keeping track of your keys. All of the amenities are provided - there is a Keurig coffee making and you can bring your own pods or buy them. There is a small fridge with a freezer and a microwave. Soap, shampoo and conditioner, a hair dryer, are provided as well as a few make up remover pads. They left sleep masks, ear plugs and chocolates for us in both rooms. They have outlets with ethernet for your phone to charge. The TV is easy to use if you have a smart TV and know how to use it. We were able to log into our Youtube TV and Netflix with no problem. Good supply of towels. and an extra blanket. The little fireplace really keeps the room warm and cozy. The beds were comfortable. There was the cutest family of raccoons and some other animals - maybe beavers of some sort. You get reminder texts about check in and check out and we had no issues but I am confident that if we did they would have been addressed quickly. We would definitely stay here again!

This place was top notch. I've stayed in many Inns for work and finally found one I'll return to. Great kitchenettes. Very clean! Comfy beds. Awesome hospitality staff!

Best Place to Stay in South Lake Tahoe!
The South Lake Chalet exceeded my expectations. Check in was super easy. Location was amazing, just 3 minutes walking to Heavenly shopping center. The room itself was so cozy and had everything we needed. Very cute and modern. The price was very affordable as well. Definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful stay in South Lake Tahoe
My husband and I love coming to Tahoe every summer and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the newly remodeled hotel was. The room is small but very well organized with what you need. The bed was so comfortable and it is located in the downtown area. Very close to stores, restaurants and the casinos. We would definitely stay again.

Truly the cutest little suite! It was so clean and cozy. My only complaint would be the thin walls. You can hear your neighbors next door, otherwise everything was great! Such a close walk to heavenly village, even in the snow!

Birthday Weekend in Tahoe
Even though it snowed more than 3 feet, my friends and I had a great time in Tahoe. The location was perfect; we we’re able to walk downtown for dinner and to the gondola. We also got to wake up to great views of the mountain. I look forward to going back.

Cozy unit!
I really enjoyed my stay at this Airbnb. Attentive hosts with clear instructions regarding everything. Big and really comfortable bed to rest. The only thing I didn’t like was the AC/heating system, as it was connected to other units, we couldn’t control the temperature that well as we wanted. Also, apparently the parking is not assigned for each apartment, or we didn’t see any at least.

The unit was very clean, nice furnishings, and perfect for 1-2 people. I walked to the beach each day, and there were stores and restaurants within walking distance, too. Loved the swiss shower, and the Keurig coffee maker with k-pods and cream/sugar supplied. Has fridge and microwave, too. Bed was super comfy. Will be coming back here no doubt next time I am in Tahoe.

Process was organized and efficient. We felt "in the loop" throughout and all the information we needed to have a smooth check in / check out and a pleasant stay was provided for us. The room was very nice, clean, modern, with a comfortable bed. Perhaps a little smaller than we thought based on the pictures, but not a problem for us at all. We quite enjoyed our stay. Location is perfect if you want to be close to all the activity and action of South Lake Tahoe and Stateline.

After a long full day of travel, delayed flights, nearly missed shuttle connections...the chalet #8 on Poplar Avenue in South Lake Tahoe was a dream. Everything was perfect! South Lake Tahoe
I was very pleased and satisfied with the room. It was comfortable and clean. That alone warrants 5-stars. I wasn't expecting the location area to be the way it was - sort of like a motel city. But that's my fault for not doing more research around the area. However, there were no issues. It was conveniently located to shops, restaurants and bars. That was nice. The only minor complaint I had was that there is construction of a new building underway directly across the street. The construction noise started daily at 7:00 am. (none on Saturday). That was a bit of a bummer and it would have been nice to have been informed of this when making the booking.

My husband found this place on airbnb when we decided to do a spontaneous trip to Tahoe. Firstly, pictures shown under this listing were accurate. It's located within 5 minutes of Heavenly Village. The space was overall cute and designed so well. Very cozy. The host responded promptly to my emails. We'd stay here again.

Very cute and cozy little AirB&B in a great location. Doors are a bit difficult to get into at first. Us as well as multiple other guests had to try multiple (4 or 5+) times before figuring out how to get the door unlocked using the provided code(s). We were also unable to use our tv for the majority of the trip due to WiFi issues. Other than that, our stay was very nice and quiet.
