We had a great stay! This unit is in the perfect location. You can walk to restaurants/bars and to the gondola to get on the mountain. Smaller space but was perfect for just the two of us. The room was very clean and comfortable and the host was extremely responsive. We had one issue with our AC unit and they got back to us immediately and sorted it right out. Thanks for a great stay!

A perfect place to stay in Tahoe, winter or summer. A short walk to the Gondola or the shore, and easily accessible restaurants, stores or casinos (if that’s your thing) and all South Lake Tahoe has to offer. The room itself was pristine, easy, comfortable and elegant (which isn’t always an easy combination to hit). All the amenities needed for either a short or longer stay, and peaceful and private and quiet to boot. Hard to ask for more.

Zip Stay was a wonderful host and they have a great location. Arrived right before the snow storm hit and they were easy to communicate with, responsive and helpful. Had an enjoyable stay and the location was in easy walking distance to the gondola for skiing and basically in the heart of Heavenly Village. Would absolutely stay at the property again!

We loved that this place was a little bit off of the beating path so it avoided all of the hussle and bussle but it was just a short walk to everything! It was very clean and that was one of the most comfortable beds that I’ve ever stayed in. The added touches like the noise machine and pods for coffee were a definite plus for me! Highly recommend. Take the drive and pay the fee to get into Sand Harbor! So beautiful!!

Very easy to work with and clear instructions to access the room. Quick 5 minute walk to the heavenly gondola and convenient location relative to restaurants. We would stay here again if we come to heavenly. Only but small gripe, would be nice to have more hanger and shelving since it is an efficiency style room (business desk is not useful to us, personally anyway).

My boyfriend and I decided to come out to Lake Tahoe for our first time for a little road trip. Our stay was beautiful with the lake being so close to our stay and everything being a walkable distance we were amazed and enjoyed everything. I’m sure we will be coming back in the future and will recommend to friends. The unit we stayed at was clean and nice inside, the amenities provided were a great add on. Enjoy the rental, clean and modern! The only challenge was locking the keyless electronic lock for the door. It turns out you have to press the lock button for an extended period of time I think that’s what solve the problem. Other than that things are great.

Surrounded by restaurants and shops but still really beautiful outdoor experience. it was warm and comfy. The bed was amazing. Super centralized to fun stuff but not a far drove around East or West of the lake to go up to North Tahoe.... The lake was right around the corner!! Great stay

Positive: This was a clean, nicely decorated room! The bed was the most comfy bed we have ever had in a hotel room! The kitchen area was a nice touch. Negative: There was one big disappointment. We did not have hot water to shower in the morning. It was barely room temperature and I ran it for a long time to try and get it hot. I froze just to rinse off and my husband skipped it completely. Such a shame since everything else was great.

Only complaint was the fireplace (the only source of heat) would pop often, making it a little difficult to sleep (If you are not bothered by noise when you sleep, then this will not be a problem). It also took a while for the water to heat up, I believe like 5 minutes of the shower running for it to start getting hot. Sinks had a similar issue. Host is very friendly and responsive, another huge plus. Little pricey, but worth it for the short, 5 minute walk to Heavenly Village.

The ceilings are high so it makes the room feel spacious. The location is great, within walking distance of heavenly village and all amenities. The host, though off-site, was very helpful and was just an email or a phone call away. I had a couple issues during my stay and they solved them quickly, kindly and efficiently! All of it together made for a very relaxing and refreshing getaway! I highly recommend staying here! Negative: No comment

This was a last minute find and it was absolutely perfect. It's in a great location, less than a 5 minute walk to the Harvey's amphitheater. Communication from staff was on point. It was clean, very well put together and super cozy. I am always looking for cute little places to stay versus staying at a large hotel. This place is probably my favorite find and the price was 👌🏼. Great value & cute room! The bed was very comfortable, the shower was huge and had one of those waterfall shower heads which was cool. The AC worked well and the fireplace was cute, even though it was too hot to use it. The room is exactly as pictured and the price was amazing. Plus, it’s dog friendly! There is a great brewery just a block that I highly recommend, and a private beach area just a 15 minute walk from the room. They do charge $25 to get it but you can come and go all day and it’s not crowded like the other beaches.

Note that the heating/cooling unit takes a while to really alter the room temperature, so suggest leaving it on while out. We noticed that the walls were pretty thin, so early morning conversations between our neighbors were just a bit noisy and annoying (we like to sleep in). We appreciated the kitchenette, king size bed, renovated finishes and quality toiletries. Be aware that the parking is limited (and tight, if you have a large SUV) and the unit is one of many in a renovated motel. You do have neighbors, but noise wasn’t an issue during sleeping hours. The location is convenient, being two blocks away from the highway, but the surrounding streets are surprisingly quiet. Would recommend and come again.

This location was the perfect spot for our getaway to Tahoe! The pictures are pretty spot on—you can definitely tell that this place is recently renovated. One thing we didn’t realize when booking is how walkable this location is to multiple destinations. It’s just a few minutes walk from some of the casinos and also Heavenly Village, where you can catch the gondola up the mountain for some great views and activities. It’s also walking distance to a beach. The drive to other parts of the lake are easy and scenic. The host is very responsive and check in/out was a breeze. We would definitely stay here again!

It’s near a beach as well which is nice, and you are able to bike around along the coast of the lake and everything is quite accessible from the location. It’s quite near a lot of nice shops and restaurants, and it was cool to be able to walk back and forth from Stateline to be able to checkout the Nevada side. A great and cozy place to stay! While the place looked small at first, my group and I found that it was actually the perfect size for 4 people. It felt like we were kids again having a sleepover, and we loved sharing the space together. The location was awesome as well! We were less than 10 minutes away to get groceries and all the outdoor activities we did were only 30 minutes (honestly less without the bit of traffic!) away. Lastly, the host is the absolute best. They checked in with me everyday to make sure we had what we needed. Even though my party didn't need anything, it was nice knowing that I felt confident and comfortable in the ability to reach out to the host, as they were consistently warm and welcoming. Also, the hot tub was just the best way to unwind and relax. Hope to stay here again one day! You should definitely give this place a stay as well!

The unit was nice. The location is great and while it is very small, it still felt comfortable for 3 adults. The only issue we had was that the place felt like it was in need of a good deep cleaning. The walls/baseboards/doors were all pretty dirty, same with the hot tub. This was my first trip to Tahoe, so I don’t have other rentals to compare it to. The unit seems to be pretty popular so those details might get missed when trying to turn the unit over to the next guest. Overall, we still had a pleasant stay, but I’m not sure it was worth the price we paid.

Overall, the layout of the property is terrible if there are people staying in the house next door (same property). The patio of the other house looks directly into the bathroom from about 10 feet away. Even with the blinds closed it is impossible to have much privacy. TV, furniture, and kitchen accommodations are very sparse. Hot tub was not available the first night due to cleaning, but still smelled bad afterwards.

Great little summer rental for a short stay for 5 adults and one dog. We easily walked to see sunset at the lake and to eat out. We wished for a table to gather around to share a meal, but the space is really small and there is not room for a table. There is not a lot of privacy from attached unit if both parties use their front deck/grill. This is also where the shared hot tub is located. We unfortunately missed seeing a bear that lumbered through the lot next to this rental. (Neighbors told us.) This was not a problem for our group, but the large room upstairs has two beds and no privacy between them. The cool evening allowed us to sleep with window open in the smaller private bedroom upstairs. The larger room has no screens on windows and there were some mosquitoes. So needed more airflow, but settled for warm and stuffy instead of mosquitoes.

During our stay, he sent email to see if we need anything. He also helped us with any issue we have immediately. HOWEVER, the house smells awful (and all bedding smells bad). The bathtub is not clean. The handle of the shower door is broken (and my mother almost slipped when she opened the door). If you are looking for a quiet and private place to stay, don't choose this house. This house is literally right next to another house, so even our neighbors are not party people, we still can hear each other's talkings.

Spent most of our time inside the house since there was a winter storm, but we still did enjoy it, just played with the snow outside since it was fresh and thick. The hot tub, and the bathtub inside is nice. Wish the hot tub has some type of roof above it so we could have enjoyed it more but nonetheless, it was a good experience. Beds were cozy, kept us warm. Provided toiletries, lots of towels and cooking utensils which is a plus. Owner is very responsive. Good experience.

My family spent Christmas here. This is the best location for people who are going to South Lake Tahoe for the first time. It’s under a mile away from Heavenly Village. The house is clean and complete with amenities! Check in was really easy as well.

Location was great, checkin was very easy. It was a great jumping off point for the many outdoor adventures Tahoe has to offer! The place was cozy for 3 adults + one small dog. It was great to be able to use the kitchen to cook breakfast and dinner but the breakfast bar seating was a bit tight (and there is no dining table). There are actually 3 proper beds so you could easily sleep 6 adults; although 6 adults would be a tight fit common areas of the house.

This place was perfect for a group of friends to go and spend the weekend. It's on a quiet, safe street in South Lake Tahoe that is a short walk to the main shops and cafes in the area. We had a wonderful time taking advantage of the hot tub and grill. The place was very clean and cozy, and the beds were comfortable. To top it all off, Arvand was a great, responsive host. We'd definitely stay there again!

This was the perfect location for all of the things we wanted to do in Tahoe! Place was stylish and clean with a large bathroom (loved the tub!) It was a bit smaller than the photos had made it seem but was still plenty of space for everyone. Hot tub outside was great and the deck was a bonus. Would recommend to everyone!

The home is very conveniently located and the host(s) are very responsive. We were two families (4 adults and 2 kids). As the listing notes this home is small and since one of the bed rooms is the attic that leads to the second bedroom, as described on the listing privacy between families can be an issue. The good: 1. The hot tub on the patio is something we very much enjoyed. 2. The check in process was seamless and fast. 3. We informed the hosts that the linen/sheets were not fresh in one of the bed rooms. Also the shower door did not close correctly causing water to leak out. The hosts were very responsive and immediately sent over someone to replace the sheets and fix the shower door. 4. The house was in general clean and well maintained. 5. Ample supply of towels and bathroom amenities. 6. Good WiFi . 7. Convenient location with parking. Close to the lake and other attractions. What could be improved: 1. Bathroom fixtures (for e.g. Jacuzzi water outlet) were loose and coming apart. Need to be fixed. 2. As mentioned above the shower door does not close properly causing water to seep out. Even after it was fixed it was not easy to manage, especially by kids. Needs to be permanently fixed. 3. In the shower room there is no provision to keep soap / shampoo. Adding a soap stand will make it very convenient to use the shower. 4. Adding laundry and dishwasher facility could make the home more amenable for longer stays. 5. Turning on the TV was a bit of a struggle. A guide on how to use the remotes to switch between TV and other options will help.

The beds and layout of his home make for a very comfortable stay. Arvand and Noah were prompt communicators and offered local tips for dog parks and hiking. The keypad access made check-in and check-out procedures easy. We would not hesitate to book with Arvand again--highly recommend.

Myself and three others stayed at Arvands for a Labor Day weekend getaway and it was great! The place was exactly what we needed! I really expected it to be much smaller and tight for four adults just based on reviews, but it wasn't bad whatsoever. Most days and evenings we were out on the town anyways, so not a lot of time was spent just hanging out at the house. When we were at the house, we found we spent most time relaxing on the front patio furniture (my favorite place). Our group of friends is already planning a trip for next summer to Arvand's place! Walking distance to town wasn't bad whatsoever, the house was clean and modern, and the beds were comfortable.

We loved that it was close enough to walk to everything we wanted in South Lake; we could get to the show, restaurants and bars all on foot, even with a 6 and 7 year old(restaurants only). It was a cozy space for the 6 of us, but definitely not crowded. The hot tub was wonderful and Arvand was always available to help if needed. We would definitely stay here again.

This house was good and suited our needs and Arvand was a good host. The house is walkable to many restaurants on ski run and even to the lake. We made this trek a few times with a toddler and infant in a stroller. With that said, I wouldn't recommend this house for a family with small children like mine (2 and 8 months), it's better for a group of adults or families with bigger kids as all the beds are upstairs. We did enjoy our stay though and the kitchen was equipped so we could have breakfast and be on our way. Overall, great stay, would stay again but without my kiddos.

Aravand was a great host. He responded quickly and made it clear he wanted us to have a great stay! And we did! He was also very open about the unit being small for our party of 4. It was definitely cozy, but it fit our needs well. The hot tub was great and the beds were super comfy. 2 of the mattresses are tempurpedic. The location is prime. Only a $8-10 cab ride to the casinos. It is honestly even walkable, but there was too much snow on the sidewalks during our visit to walk. I think an addition of a love seat in the living room would make the house perfect. There is plenty of seating, but for things like watching a movie, it got a little tight on the couch. This place was great and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you again, Arvand!

Arvand's place was exacly as described. We enjoyed two nights in Lake Tahoe, both days ending in the jacuzzi. The kitchen was nice, but not that well equipped for cooking. The lake was a 10 min walk away, and so was the mountain bike rental shop that we used. We recommend this place to everyone who needs a place to stay in Lake Tahoe!

This is in a great location and a cute house! We were a little disappointed, upon arriving we found the place had tons of knats and ants. We used the Raid under the sink to bomb the house, then we went out for a few hours. We didn't have many issues with bugs after that, maybe the guests before us left the door open? The house has gone through some wear and tear, more so than the pictures lead you to believe. With that being said, the location is AMAZING! We walked everywhere and felt safe, even into the evening. Overall, great host, great location but the house is getting a little rough.

We didn't use the hot tub, but the neighbors did and it wasn't an issue or disturbance at all. The smoke detector was beeping due to low battery and they were there to fix it with in a few short hours.

Arvand was a great host. Very easy to communicate with before our stay. The location is perfect, close to the casinos, restaurants, and entertainment. We had two different experiences with the house. There are two homes on the property. For part of our trip, we rented both homes, and really loved it. It would be great for multiple families. However, when the adjacent house was rented out to another person, we were bummed that our relaxing weekend was bombarded by a bachelorette party. The walls and windows are pretty thin. All in all, I would say it is great to rent out both properties together.

Arvand was very accommodating during the stay, and checked in to see if we had everything needed. We enjoyed the hottub both evenings, and had no problems coordinating with the adjoined neighbors. I would absolutely recommend this cabin, if you're coming to the area.

Had to change my arrival date due to weather and Arvand responded quickly and actually with in 1-2 hrs was able to change my reservation to include an extra day before my original arrival day. My girls were able to see the snowflakes come down at the house and had a blast. My 4 yr old asked when are we coming back. She enjoyed the tub and the soft powder snow. Highly recommended great price no hassle no security deposit and most of all allows pets. Biggie had a great time running around in the back and side yard. I would say one of my best stays in tahoe. We all hope to come back soon. Thank you Arvand for being a great host.

I booked this rental less than 24 hours before check-in, which also happened to be Christmas day. Arvand was quick to respond and we were all set to go with all the details we needed within an hour or so. The unit was exactly as pictured. Our stay was stress free, easy and only a few minutes to the village. We didn't have any problems finding the place but Google Maps did most of the heavy lifting. We stayed there with our toddler, so we really loved the yard space. We were able to pull her around in her sleigh, build a snowman, and make snow angels without having to get all packed in the car. We also enjoyed Bob Dog Pizza which is a pretty good restaurant nearby. My only request would probably be more towels. I'm sure I could have requested some but didn't bother because of the holiday. The price point was great and overall we were pleased with this ultra last minute getaway. I would def stay here again.

A lovely little place to stay, very comfortable beds and cozy interior. We used the hot tub nearly every night to relax, and it was great. It was really nice to have a kitchen with some cooking utensils and a refrigerator. The location was great. Several good restaurants within easy walking distance, and lots of shops and other places to eat within easy driving distance. It was a lovely, romantic getaway spot. Our stay was several days and we really liked the place. I would definitely recommend it to just about anyone.

We loved this little cabin. Cozy and clean! For only 2 people it was plenty of space - many more can stay, but we were just 2. The bathroom was large, two sinks, separate shower and jacuzzi bathtub! Outside is another new hot tub. It’s shared with the other cabin. The kitchen has most things needed. The TV is downstairs with HDMI connection. There is wifi, so bring a Chromecast or the like to connect to the TV. The heater works quickly. There's an outdoor BBQ. I liked that the cabin is centrally located, near the Nevada border and its casinos, very near the lake, we loved jet skiing, so fun, it’s also near ski resorts, lots of restaurants and shops, with the grocery store down the street. Arvand the host was very responsive and quick on text messages and friendly. I very much recommend this host and cabin. Lovely little vacation spot.

The place was as described. Upon arrival it had kind of a weird odor, but it was otherwise clean. We opened all windows to air it out. The beds were comfortable. Both bedrooms have at least one window with no shades or curtains. The house is close enough to pioneer that you could hear traffic early in the morning with all windows shut. I'm a light sleeper and the combo of noise and light woke me up around 6am both days. No major complaints, but being a light sleeper I don't think I would stay again.

Larger family may see the place a little snug if everyone is hanging out in the family room/kitchen. Amenities was complete. Place was clean throughout from what I expected. Perfect Honeymoon Stay
It was a pleasure staying at South Lake Chalet! Unit 7 was perfectly clean and beautifully decorated. My husband was feeling extremely motion sick after our flight and drive in and desperately needed to rest, so we especially appreciated how easy check-in was and that the woman cleaning was compassionate and allowed us to enter the room and two hours early because she had finished getting it ready. The fully supplied kitchen area was extremely helpful for our extended stay. We also were glad to have so many towels and two beach blankets. This made picnics on the beach so easy! We also loved that the bathroom and shower were spacious and clean. Our Favorite thing about staying here was that the location could not have been better for our honeymoon vacation needs. It was centrally located less than 10 minutes walking distance to Lakeside Beach, Heavenly Village, great restaurants, and the casinos. The next time we are in South Lake Tahoe we will definitely be staying here again! We miss our little Chalet already!!

The room was very comfortable. I very much liked the layout and I cannot praise the shower enough! It was plenty roomy and wonderful water pressure easy to control. The location is hard to beat. You are in the shadows practically of Harrah's and Harvey's! The property as a whole is extremely well maintained and the maid service was very friendly and responsive. The cost was extremely reasonable. This makes a great low-key refuge from home if you are visiting Tahoe!

Very comfy bed and pillows. Unit was clean and bright. It is walking distance to stores, restaurants and the beach. Parking is an issue. Dark parking lot with only one motion sensor light mounted in the front and unassigned parking. I didnt feel safe walking out at night and had to keep an eye on my car. The spots aren't clearly marked off so people parked at odd angles taking up 2 spots and its so dark at night people probably couldn't see. Street parking is sketchy and not recommended if you leave things in your car over night. They should relocate the dumpsters to open up 2 more parking spots.

The room was very clean and super convienient. It has everything you need to have an easy going weekend or week in Tahoe. They provided towels, beach towels, ironing board, basic kitchen items. There’s a fridge with a freezer and communal body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in case you forgot it! It’s also within walking distance to the heavenly shopping center and casinos. Checking in and out was easy. The only thing I wish was different was that the window was tinted from the outside. The room is quite dark even with all of the lights turned on. When opening the window you can see everything from the outside. I would recommend either adding a ceiling light and/or tinting the window from the outside so you can open the blinds during the day without having to worry about people snooping!

Loved staying here. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the rooms were renovated to look and feel like a luxury hotel stay. I stayed in Unit 7 -- king-sized bed, huge kitchenette with full-size microwave, deep sink, and small fridge. They didn't skimp on any details: dishtowels, dish & hand soap, sponge, dishes from Project 62/Target. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bed linens/pillows felt high-quality. Tasteful and modern decor. The A/C with remote control was clutch since it was 90+ degrees while I was in Tahoe. The rain shower was HUGE, Toto toilet, and all the toiletries you'd need, including a hair dryer. The location is great, too -- walking distance to the casinos, the Heavenly gondola, and lots of cute restaurants, shops -- all 3 or so blocks away. Definitely staying here when I come back.

My stay at the Chalet was wonderful. The space was clean, well decorated, and included everything for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I especially enjoyed the automated fireplace, which would turn itself off and on to control the temperature in the room. Love a good king-sized bed which can be hard to find when traveling. This unit is in a prime location, within just a few minutes walk to Heavenly, which made it that much better! I would highly recommend staying at the Chalet and would certainly attempt to re-book if/when I were to return to Tahoe.

Fabulous chalet in great location
It's not always the case that the cabin/room you book looks exactly as pictured, but this is absolutely the case with this chalet. The room, kitchenette, and bathroom were extremely clean and we love that it comes with a gas fireplace. The place is within walking distance to most restaurants in the South Lake Tahoe area. Communication with ZipRent is timely and we really appreciate the clear check-in/out instructions, along with other tidbits like how to operate some of the amenities in room. Would definitely look for this place in our next Tahoe trip.

Location, location, location! This unit is walking distance (5 min) to Heavenly Gondola, shops, & restaurants. The place was clean and bed was super comfy! The heater was a little noisy as I'm a light sleeper. There is construction near by, but they didn't start to 8am or later - just a heads up! We are early risers so it didn't bother us! Tahoe Chalet Number 7
Everything was very clean. The only trouble we had was with the heating unit. It was a little difficult to keep a comfortable temperature at all times, but we were given fair warning about that so I wasn’t concerned. Location was excellent.

Very clean and cozy unit. The place was just a couple blocks away from the main Heavenly village. The inside of the unit was very clean and stylishly decorated as well.

Amazing Tahoe Chalet
My girlfriend and I absolutely loved staying at this accommodation. It was exactly what we wanted, and more. The bed was a great size and extremely comfortable, the fireplace provided great warmth and a really romantic feel, the shower was big enough for two, and for a small place we didn’t feel short on space. It is very well done and we would gladly stay again.

BEST PLACE EVER!
My boyfriend and I rent this place for his birthday trip. It was newly renovated interior with everything looking very homey, updated, and modern. The room was spacey with an extra sink in the "kitchen" area. Our most favorite part of all is the rainfall shower! We went when it was cold & snowing so the rainfal shower was such a nice touch once we got back to the room. Also, there is an amazingly warm fireplace as a secondary heat source!
