Better than chain hotels
This is a modern and quaint little hotel space. I would highly recommend this spot over the chain hotels. It was clean, modern, and very put together. Check process was also straight forward. I would highly recommend this.

8 hr drive to an amazing stay!
My boyfriend and I decided to come out to Lake Tahoe for our first time for a little road trip. Our stay was beautiful with the lake being so close to our stay and everything being a walkable distance we were amazed and enjoyed everything. I’m sure we will be coming back in the future and will recommend to friends. The unit we stayed at was clean and nice inside, the amenities provided were a great add on. All in all we loved our stay here thank you!

Charming little place!!
My boyfriend and I stayed here and absolutely loved it. Such a great location - walking distance from many cute shops and restaurants. Room was clean, quiet, and cozy. We loved the fireplace and the bed was super comfortable. Easy check in and check out, staff was very kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here and will definitely stay again!

Excellent place
Enjoyed our stay very much. All newly remodeled and comfortable. The only thing was I wish there was more room for luggage. Really no space available without being in the way. Maybe an overhead light over the kitchen counter as well. Pretty dark. But overall loved it.

The location is fantastic. You are a short walk from everything but also away from the busy streets. The room was super clean and exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting South Lake Tahoe. We would absolutely choose this rental again!

Loved it!
This was a last minute find and it was absolutely perfect. It's in a great location, less than a 5 minute walk to the Harvey's amphitheater. Communication from staff was on point. It was clean, very well put together and super cozy. I am always looking for cute little places to stay versus staying at a large hotel. This place is probably my favorite find and the price was 👌🏼. I highly recommend for anyone looking for an intimate, super charming getaway. We will definitely return!

Perfect Location
This little spot was the perfect, walkable location to all kinds of activities available in South Lake Tahoe. The room is very cute and cozy, and the kitchenette made our week long stay very comfortable. Overall, this place seemed like the best bang for our buck and we would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Honeymoon Stay
It was a pleasure staying at South Lake Chalet! Unit 7 was perfectly clean and beautifully decorated. My husband was feeling extremely motion sick after our flight and drive in and desperately needed to rest, so we especially appreciated how easy check-in was and that the woman cleaning was compassionate and allowed us to enter the room and two hours early because she had finished getting it ready. The fully supplied kitchen area was extremely helpful for our extended stay. We also were glad to have so many towels and two beach blankets. This made picnics on the beach so easy! We also loved that the bathroom and shower were spacious and clean. Our Favorite thing about staying here was that the location could not have been better for our honeymoon vacation needs. It was centrally located less than 10 minutes walking distance to Lakeside Beach, Heavenly Village, great restaurants, and the casinos. The next time we are in South Lake Tahoe we will definitely be staying here again! We miss our little Chalet already!!

Sooooo Cozy!
The room was very comfortable. I very much liked the layout and I cannot praise the shower enough! It was plenty roomy and wonderful water pressure easy to control. The location is hard to beat. You are in the shadows practically of Harrah's and Harvey's! The property as a whole is extremely well maintained and the maid service was very friendly and responsive. The cost was extremely reasonable. This makes a great low-key refuge from home if you are visiting Tahoe!

First airbnb in tahoe area
Very comfy bed and pillows. Unit was clean and bright. It is walking distance to stores, restaurants and the beach. Parking is an issue. Dark parking lot with only one motion sensor light mounted in the front and unassigned parking. I didnt feel safe walking out at night and had to keep an eye on my car. The spots aren't clearly marked off so people parked at odd angles taking up 2 spots and its so dark at night people probably couldn't see. Street parking is sketchy and not recommended if you leave things in your car over night. They should relocate the dumpsters to open up 2 more parking spots.

The freshly remodeled boutique motel was very nice! Thoughtful touches, nice kitchenette. The walls are a bit thin but they supply earplugs if you desire It wasn’t too bad. Don’t hesitate.

The room was very clean and super convienient. It has everything you need to have an easy going weekend or week in Tahoe. They provided towels, beach towels, ironing board, basic kitchen items. There’s a fridge with a freezer and communal body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in case you forgot it! It’s also within walking distance to the heavenly shopping center and casinos. Checking in and out was easy. The only thing I wish was different was that the window was tinted from the outside. The room is quite dark even with all of the lights turned on. When opening the window you can see everything from the outside. I would recommend either adding a ceiling light and/or tinting the window from the outside so you can open the blinds during the day without having to worry about people snooping!

Wonderful place to stay
Loved staying here. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the rooms were renovated to look and feel like a luxury hotel stay. I stayed in Unit 7 -- king-sized bed, huge kitchenette with full-size microwave, deep sink, and small fridge. They didn't skimp on any details: dishtowels, dish & hand soap, sponge, dishes from Project 62/Target. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bed linens/pillows felt high-quality. Tasteful and modern decor. The A/C with remote control was clutch since it was 90+ degrees while I was in Tahoe. The rain shower was HUGE, Toto toilet, and all the toiletries you'd need, including a hair dryer. The location is great, too -- walking distance to the casinos, the Heavenly gondola, and lots of cute restaurants, shops -- all 3 or so blocks away. Definitely staying here when I come back.

Everything was great!
My stay at the Chalet was wonderful. The space was clean, well decorated, and included everything for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I especially enjoyed the automated fireplace, which would turn itself off and on to control the temperature in the room. Love a good king-sized bed which can be hard to find when traveling. This unit is in a prime location, within just a few minutes walk to Heavenly, which made it that much better! I would highly recommend staying at the Chalet and would certainly attempt to re-book if/when I were to return to Tahoe.

Fabulous chalet in great location
It's not always the case that the cabin/room you book looks exactly as pictured, but this is absolutely the case with this chalet. The room, kitchenette, and bathroom were extremely clean and we love that it comes with a gas fireplace. The place is within walking distance to most restaurants in the South Lake Tahoe area. Communication with ZipRent is timely and we really appreciate the clear check-in/out instructions, along with other tidbits like how to operate some of the amenities in room. Would definitely look for this place in our next Tahoe trip.

Walking Distance to Everything!!
Location, location, location! This unit is walking distance (5 min) to Heavenly Gondola, shops, & restaurants. The place was clean and bed was super comfy! The heater was a little noisy as I'm a light sleeper. There is construction near by, but they didn't start to 8am or later - just a heads up! We are early risers so it didn't bother us! The place has a Keurig & minimal dishes - just enough if you're planning a 3-4 night stay. We loved the esthetic & the location!

Everything was very clean. The only trouble we had was with the heating unit. It was a little difficult to keep a comfortable temperature at all times, but we were given fair warning about that so I wasn’t concerned. Location was excellent.

Amazing Tahoe Chalet
My girlfriend and I absolutely loved staying at this accommodation. It was exactly what we wanted, and more. The bed was a great size and extremely comfortable, the fireplace provided great warmth and a really romantic feel, the shower was big enough for two, and for a small place we didn’t feel short on space. It is very well done and we would gladly stay again.

BEST PLACE EVER!
My boyfriend and I rent this place for his birthday trip. It was newly renovated interior with everything looking very homey, updated, and modern. The room was spacey with an extra sink in the "kitchen" area. Our most favorite part of all is the rainfall shower! We went when it was cold & snowing so the rainfal shower was such a nice touch once we got back to the room. Also, there is an amazingly warm fireplace as a secondary heat source!
