Excellent Stay for Skiing
We really enjoyed our stay. It was exactly as advertised. Easy check-in and plenty of communication. Dishes and cutlery for our party of four were clean and in good condition. Efficient use of space and we appreciated the Keurig cups! I was delighted there was a kettle for making my tea. I appreciated there was no surprise list of chores to complete when we checked out. Plenty of towels and the shampoo/conditioner/soap in the shower were very much appreciated! This Chalet is approximately 7 minutes drive to Heavenly California Lodge ski lifts and is even closer to Heavenly Village. When we go back to Tahoe to ski, we will definitely stay here.

Excellent Location & Modern Comfy Bed
My family of 3 stayed here for a ski trip to Heavenly- walking distance to the Gondola! This is the 2nd time we have stayed at The South Lake Chalet and really enjoyed it as a jumping off point for lots of activities: putt putt, magic show, sledding... The rooms hit all of the marks: very comfortable beds, sheets & pillow, temperature control including a fireplace, solid shower pressure & temperature and a nice kitchenette set up. It is a great value and customer service was amazing. We needed a little help with the lock and they were immediately available via phone to troubleshoot. 10 out 10, I recommend to everyone and can't wait to plan another visit.

First time fan
This was my first time renting through zipstay. Very impressed. Their text SMS support was super fast and on top of everything. The unit I had was separated with a door and different climate control. This is KEEEEY to a great sleep and living area comfort. Set the bedroom cooler than living room. The firplace heat was great. Nice shower and comfortable beds! I really liked the way this company handled everything. All the notifications and everything was on point. Gotta say. Pleasantly surprised.

Nice place!
This was a very nice place to stay. Everything was very clean. Checking in and out was super easy. A lot of stuff is within walking distance, there’s also a nice dog friendly dog beach about 3 miles away. I definitely plan on staying here next time I come back.

My family and I stayed for the 4th of July weekend/week and this was a beautifully and clean place, centrally located, very comfortable! We could walk to dozens of restaurants and other amenities. I'd highly recommend a suite so everyone in the party can rest better for daytime activities. Room is clean and equipped with all essentials. This is a self service accommodation and you need to read instructions on your own, but you get to save a bit to spend elsewhere.

Great location close to everything. Unit was clean and cozy. The only trouble we had was locking the door. Others people staying there experienced the same thing, so we had to use a manual key that was provided. Overall, I would stay again.

Fantastic Airbnb!
I loved this Airbnb! I have nothing bad to say at all. The only thing to add is that the bathroom fan didn't work but there was a small window that provided ventilation so it was all good! The location was excellent, a 2 block walk to middle of Heavenly. There was beach access about a quarter-mile down the road. The amenities were excellent, especially the AC as it was low 90's and high 80's when I went. My party and I brought a gas burner and were able to cook our own meals. We appreciated the bowls, plates, cups, and utensils that were provided. I loved bathroom and separate bedroom from the common living space. The wifi was fast and reliable. You are guaranteed parking (one per room / chalet) which was nice. I loved the easy check-in (digital lock) and the great communication from Ziprent. The lock is a little confusing at first but I got the hang of it really quickly. (*Hint: To lock the door from outside, tap the key pad until it is lit and then tap the lock and then hold it down until you hear the lock.) The space looked beautiful and was super clean (**important - COVID). If I come back to Tahoe, I will plan my trip around when this property is available.

Great spot to stay if you're looking for somewhere with comfy beds, a few extra amenities (mini fridge, microwave, dishes), and a place to sit and socialize. Great location as well! The walls are a bit on the thin side, but it was a minor annoyance at best.

Unfortunately, we were not able to keep our reservation due to a traffic accident in the mountains. But the hosts were amazingly understanding, helpful and thoughtful. On this basis alone, we look forward to the chance to stay here and fully enjoy beautiful Lake Tahoe sometime in the future.

Awesome place, great value!
We loved our stay! The location was close enough to Heavenly Village that you could walk (even in ski boots!) to catch the gondola up the mountain or pick up dinner from many restaurants in the area. The fireplace kept the unit very warm, and the unit was well equipped with everything needed for our stay, from dish soap and sponges, to K-cups and a wine bottle opener. The beds and linens were very comfortable, and the unit was clean. The only thing that was a little tricky was the door locking mechanism. It took a lot of patience and a little finesse to get the lock to engage from the outside when leaving the unit. The host provided us with exceptional communications before, during, and following our trip. Each unit looks laid out differently. We had Unit #5, and it looked to be one of the larger units at the inn. We'd absolutely return here again and do business with the host in the future.

Valentine's Day weekend
Our stay was nice and quiet. The area is a few minute walk from Stateline, NV. 10 min walk to the first beach at the lake at the State border. Less than 10 min walk to Heavenly Gondola and shops and restaurants. Short drive across stateline to Tesla Supercharger, which was important to us because we have a Tesla. The rental itself was nice and cozy. It was kept warm so definitely a plus. Basic silverware with plates/bowls, cups and glasses w mini fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. Will return in the warmer season and will consider staying again.

Perfect stay!
We enjoyed an entire week of fun at South Lake Tahoe. Ideal location for skiing Heavenly. The only thing I regret is not finding out the brand of the mattress. I’ve never slept so comfortable in my life. The only thing better would be one more armchair in the living area! Simply a wonderful stay!!

I booked this for my boyfriend's birthday and we both loved it! All the rooms were clean, comfortable and modern. There were heaters in both the living room and bedroom that we appreciated after being out in the cold. The bed was absolutely comfortable (and my favorite part of the stay) and the shower gave a spa like feel. Thanks so much!
