How lucky was I to get a last minute reservation and score a last minute deal. I decided 48 hours prior to arriving to have an impromptu family reunion with both of my children and their families, my son just living maybe 5 minutes down the road from this duplex. Besides having issues getting into the property, they allowed us to arrive a bit early due to all the traveling I'd done, I'm beyond grateful for this squeaky clean rental. The communications was spot on when able to connect, the wifi issue was horrific! Any small issues we had besides the wifi being poor, was addressed immediately or noted (tp holder came unscrewed from wall, stool leg came out of socket when sat on and a drinking glass cracked when being washed). My family came for dinner and we sat comfortable around the large, adorable, farm style bench and chairs table. The little cousins had plenty of room to run around playing in the spacious living room safely. I'm beyond grateful for the memories we created here:)

Overall we enjoyed the location. It was easy to access, clean and the beds were comfortable. There were some issues that needed to be addressed during the trip unfortunately, but the staff was quite responsive and even provided a small refund for the trouble which was appreciated. If they can make sure some issues are addressed the location is well worth it.

Because we arrived at night, we had a very rough start. Pitch darkness, poor signage, and no welcoming light made for a scary experience which was exasperated by our travel weariness. Once inside, we felt relieved; the place was spotless and we'll equipped. The beds were comfortable. In daylight, we were pleased to feel somewhat safer, though it is a strange neighborhood. Suggestions: bigger, lit signage, a light on the porch, a grab bar in the bathtub, extra blankets for when it's cold (there was no heat on arrival, but a very nice maintenance man, Alberto came to our rescue and was able to fix the problem. Also, it would have been extremely helpful if (like other places we've stayed) there was a folder of local maps, restaurants, and attractions to guide our visit. I'm sure that a summer visit would be lovely.

If you are heading up to the Santa Rosa area, this place is great! The outside is a bit deceiving...
If you are heading up to the Santa Rosa area, this place is great! The outside is a bit deceiving since it’s basically a cabin in the woods, but the inside is updated with a great kitchen. There’s a gated parking space, stocked kitchen and bathroom, and lots of extra bedding. The Wi-Fi signal is good BUT cell service isn’t. If you are going to be using Uber/Lyft, be sure to budget some extra time into your schedule since it may take a bit of time for them to get to you due to lack of cell service. My only complaint real complaint is that someone had clearly cooked meat/fish before our stay, so the place smelled like it the entire weekend we were there. Otherwise though it was very clean, and just what we needed for our stay!

Stayed here with my sisters for a cute little birthday getaway! It was very clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. Best part is there is the river right next to the house you can swim in! Wonderful location! After a long, hot day on the river, this home is just a short walk from the beach which is a logistical blessing. The unit is as described in the listing and the pictures are accurate. Definitely no phone service but the wifi worked well. The house was also stocked with basics like shampoo, soap, coffee, sugar, etc. which was wonderful. My group rented both the upper and lower units so noisy neighbors was not an issue for us. However if you're in the lower unit, I can see how noise might be an issue depending on who's upstairs. Easy gated parking so no competition for a space on the road. Would recommend and we will hopefully be back in the future!

River Life
A minute walk to Mothers Beach. On those hot days, Russian River was so much fun. Place has all the amenities: kitchen, air conditioning, TV. Check-in and check-out are easy. From the house we went to Healdsburg, Guerneville, Bodega Bay, Duncan Mills (very nice small town on the river). Definitely going back
